Shell & Tube Heat Exchanger Cleaning
For the maintenance of tubular heat exchangers, Cham Clean removes fouling substances from shell & tube heat exchangers, which are used in various industries in all industries, by the CIP (Cleaning In Place) circulation cleaning method that is immersed or non-decomposing. We are developing and supplying cleaning agents that can be used. It not only effectively dissolves and removes various deposits (mineral scale, coolant and seawater scale, metal oxides, oils and denatured carbides, etc.) accumulated on various metal materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum alloys, etc.) All metals can be restored to their original state without damaging the base material. We provide cleaners and cleaning methods according to various shapes, materials and equipment.
Recently, CIP Cleaning (cleaning on site) has become an option to shorten the maintenance period and reduce costs.
Various types of shell & tube heat exchangers
The heat transfer surface is fouled with various inorganic and organic substances.
Circulation cleaning of shell & tube heat exchangers
CIP cleaning: Chemical descaling is an effective on-site cleaning solution that does not require equipment dismantling (= Online cleaning).

Cyclic cleaning of small heat exchangers
In the case of small heat exchangers where scale accumulates in the cooling water system on the shell and tube side, the cleaning method can be applied in parallel with filling, soaking and circulation cleaning, whichever is easier depending on the situation.
The scale is completely removed without damaging the base material.
Cleaning of ship cleaning lube oil heaters
Since ship engine rooms are characterized as closed spaces, the use of hazardous chemicals and flammable solvents in equipment cleaning is dangerous and restricted by regulations, so the use of suitable cleaning agents is an important factor.
Cleaning of oil cooler cooling systems
This Lubricating Oil cooling heat exchanger has grooves on the inner wall of the tubes, which improves efficiency due to the large heat transfer area. However, once scale is formed, it is difficult to remove it by physical methods. It is recommended to remove scale by chemical methods.

Seawater heat exchanger (CCW) cleaning in thermal power plants
A large cooling water heat exchanger in a power plant uses seawater, and the inside of the heat exchanger is dirty with fish, shellfish, and seawater scale. It is cleaned by physical methods using tube pigging and high-pressure spray tube nozzles, but the hard scale is not removed and uniform cleaning is impossible. It is large and the tube bundle cannot be removed, so the shell side scale cannot be removed.
By using the ECOS-S840 cleaner from Cham Clean, you can clean the tube side and shell side scale at the same time without damaging the base material.
Cleaning of solid chemical dirt deposits
This is an example of the removal of solid chemicals from an oil refinery. This is a scale formed through a chemical reaction, and the Fill & Soak method is applied with fine chemicals that suppress the formation of toxic gases.
